Bird watching at Okhla Birds Sanctuary located at the Okhla barrage over Yamuna River. It is situated in Noida, Gautam Buddh Nagar district, on Delhi-Uttar Pradesh state border and known as a haven for over 300 bird species, especially waterbirds. The sanctuary is opened for visitors from sunrise to sunset for a nominal entry ticket of Rs.30 per person. It is recommended to carry a telephoto lens (preferably with more than 300mm focal length) for all photography enthusiasts who are interested to capture birds with their cameras. Also it is always better to avoid misty and foggy days which may produce lot of haze in the photos. So do check the weather before planning your visit to this place.
